Back to Basics

It is a New Year, and it is time to get prepared! February 11th at 6:30 to 8:30 we will be having a Back to Basics meeting on Emergency Preparedness. We will have a speaker on Emergency Response, forms about making an emergency plan for your own family, and we will also be putting together a small preparedness kit (maybe to put in your car). We would also like to encourage you to participate in our 72 hour kit expo/Contest! Use February 11th as a deadline for making your own 72 hour kit, or updating the one that you already have. Bring your kit on that night and display it for the other sisters. There will be a prize for the best kits, and all participants will have the prize of an up-to-date preparedness kit! Here are some links on preparing your own 72 hour kit. There is no set right way to make one, but use these resources to build your own. Remember something is better than nothing! Get started!
